✔️ANTIQUE CITY SELGE (20 km)
One of the important cities of Pisidia. It was connected with the cities of Pamphylia through the Eurymedon (Kopruchay) valley. It was under the rule of the Persians until the arrival of Alexander the Great. The heyday of Selge came in the Roman period (population 20,000). In the 13th century AD, after the arrival of the Turks, it became a nomadic settlement called Selge-Zerk. The ruins of today's city mainly consist of walls and an acropolis. The ruins of a gymnasium, a stoa, a stadium and a basilica have survived to this day. But the most enduring structure is the theatre, restored in the 3rd century.
